Texas Mission of Mercy brings dental care to urban and rural communities all across Texas. Services generally include basic, pain-relieving and preventive procedures such as dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions.

Give Kids a Smile is held each February to specifically serve underserved communities. The event generally consists of dental screenings and fluoride varnish applications as well as oral hygiene instructions and education.

DCDS Foundation's Dental Tree Program is a service opportunity for dentists and their teams to serve Dallas County's most at-risk populations. Together, we can unite in early November to serve our most vulnerable patients and to serve our Dallas community. In doing so, we are planting the seeds of improved oral health to make a lasting impact.

When school kicks into gear, so do we! Volunteers give Tooth Talk presentations at local elementary schools in coordination with the Dallas Dental Hygienists’ Association, with supplies provided by the DCDS Foundation.

Do you enjoy working with the elderly? Senior’s Smiles, a program aimed at nursing homes, need your expertise and time! In coordination with the Dallas Dental Hygienists’ Association, the DCDS Foundation provides oral health education to the elderly in our community.

This annual event brings together executive directors, lead dentists and key personnel from various charitable dental care providers to foster information sharing, communication and partnership opportunities that will enhance oral health in the local community. Read more…
